Your Prayers Work
Dear Sunny,
Just the two of us were praying at the Beverly St. abortion site today a
little before noon when a black 4 door mini SUV pulled up behind us and
stopped. After a couple of minutes I heard a car door open so we turned
around and a young woman approached us. She began to thank us profusely for
being there and praying. She told us that because of us [meaning all who
have prayed there] she has her little girl instead of aborting her. We asked
if her little girl was with her. She said sure and showed us her lovely
little 15 month old girl in the back seat. Then she told us how her own
mother wanted her to have an abortion. She was reluctant and felt that the
car trouble they had getting to Old Pueblo was a sign from God not to go.
Still they managed to get to the clinic and she pointed right at the
building of Dr. Richards. She said she saw blood in there and it was dirty.
She felt horrified in there and knew God was telling her to get out which
she attributed to our prayers. So she left and told her mother she wanted to
go get something to eat and never returned. She told us she thinks she would
have committed suicide if she had gone through with the abortion. Her little
girl means the world to her and she is now married to her baby's father.
Praise be to God!

Victory Celebration
Be sure to mark you calendars for Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. At 2:30 PM on
Beverly Street, there will be a Victory Celebration to thank God for
over 200 babies lives save to date in our national campaign. Your own
church Ministers, Pastors, Priests, Deacons, and Altar Servers are
invited to join in the celebration that will last until around 5:00 PM.
Please let us know if any of them will make themselves available for
this important celebration of Life.
We'll be setting up along the public area on Beverly Street, about
two blocks south of Grant Road at 2:30, with some chairs, candles,
and other important items to make our service as sacred as possible
in an outdoor public setting. Although we will have some chairs
available, we encourage you to bring your own plus a hat, water,
sunscreen, and other items you may need. Bathroom will be available.
Father Garcia's Prayer Service will be followed by a Prayer Service
offered by the Reverend John Jones, Pastor of Cross Life Church.
Immediately following the Prayer Services, we have speakers who will
address the pro-life issues we face in our own community. This is a
unique opportunity to gather at this place of pain and death to
celebrate the 300 plus lives saved nationally, with two known saves
right here at this dreadful, evil site. We deeply appreciate both
Pastors' generous offers of their time on such a busy day for them.

Dear Friends of Life,
I hope and pray that every single one of you have been enriched by
this experience to fulfill your Baptismal promises and defend the
weakest of the weak. As you all know our campaign ends this Sunday,
Nov. 2nd, with a time of reflection and prayer. We all know the victory
of life is won through Christ. We are having a memorial for the unborn
starting at 2:30 p.m. and continuing on with closing prayers and remarks
at 5 p.m. You do not have to come or stay the whole time. But of
course we would be much blessed with your presence. I hope to see you
all Sunday. God Bless and God Love You!
In Christ,
Patrick Copeland
Open
Time Slots
Dear Friends of Life,
The campaign is upon us and for those of you who have not
committed to a time at the abortion mill we are in need of a few time slots
(please pick a time that is best for you). It is never too late to sign
up. When you are deciding what time you would like to do please keep
these are times in mind because no one has signed up for them yet:
Mondays 9:30am-3pm
Tuesdays 2-3pm
Wednesdays 1-2pm
Thursdays 6-8am & 11am-2pm
Fridays 12-3pm
Just email me back what time you

Important Information
You may obtain the sign-up forms online
You may also call 326-1542 to sign-up by leaving a
message that will be
returned within 24 hours. Signing up will help all
involved maintain vigil
during the intended hours, Mon.-Sat. 6a.m.-6p.m. Please
note, you may pray before and after these times
BUT IT IS PREFERRED YOU DO SO WITH AT LEAST ONE OTHER
PRAYER PARTNER. Parking on the east side of
Beverly across from the vigil area is plentiful. Prayer
groups are asked to remain on the gravely shoulder area
ONLY. PLEASE REMAIN OFF THE
SIDEWALK since stepping upon it may bring charges
against you. Having at least one other prayer partner, a
witness, is best to prevent disputes. Some prayers have
remained in their vehicle until another prayer has
arrived. If you are signed up for a time slot, you will
have a name and telephone contact in case you are alone.
It is well advised you carry a cell phone.
Sign-up times are 1-1/2 hours each. You may certainly
stay longer or leave sooner as your schedule allows. It
would be great if you can sign-up for slot(s) on (a)
designated day(s) for the 6-1/2 weeks for consistency.
If you have questions about the 40 Days Campaign before
or during, please contact 749-5241. This number is
checked daily for messages.
Please keep in mind this is a prayerful time only. We do
not use signs of
any kind. Please bring necessities, e.g., sunscreen, a
chair, hat, water,
unbrella. The rosary is certainly a powerful tool.
Patrick Copeland will be attending the hours of
10a.m.-2p.m. on Saturdays during the event. He extends a
special invitation to all teens and young
adults. He is planning a variety of prayerful activites
including a Jericho
walk.
Prayer and fasting are welcome by those who cannot pray
onsite. Please
spread the word about this campaign.
