40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:

Our second Tucson and National campaign for 2008 will take place September 24 - November 2 and will be conducted in cities from coast to coast.

Tucson will be participating with almost 400 cities in 45 states for the upcoming 40 Days for Life .This time we have an ambitious plan because we want to close Old Pueblo Clinic where an average of 20 preborn babies meet their premature, unthinkable fate with an abortionist each week. We need committed families, individuals, teens, grandparents, etc., to fill time slots between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for the upcoming campaign taking place from Wednesday September 24 to Sunday November 2nd.

Already, two individuals have committed to this twelve hour slot on Fridays and Saturdays during the six week campaign. You may join them on these days but we especially need to fill the remaining days and times. Please consider being a part of this campaign that has been so effective in closing numerous abortion clinics across our country. The campaign has also been successful as an ecumenical outreach where Christian and non-Christian denominations from all walks of God's kingdom have come together to put an end to this present day holocaust.

You will be able to sign the commitment form again at the kick-off rally Sept. 20. This form must be signed eventually before you can participate. It helps you be informed of the do's and don't during your vigil time.
